The Miracle

In confession to her priest, Tekki Lomnicki, a little person, reveals how she dishonored her mother on a trip to Lourdes twenty-seven years before. In Tekki’s memory, her dramatic birth, her sometimes painful relationship with her mother, Sister Thecla (a storytelling nun), Saint Bernadette, her rambunctious family, little league baseball, high school musical comedy, the romantic Paris of her dreams, and the fateful trip to Lourdes, all live again. But it will take all Tekki’s courage, humor and imagination to face the truth about her life and what happened at Lourdes if she is to win a chance at redemption.

Hummingbird Magic

Hummingbird Magic follows the life, survival and symbolism of hummingbirds. It is an up close and personal window into a baby’s life from an egg, half the size of a jelly bean, to the Hummer’s first flight. Amazing cinematography by Alicia Brauns and informative eloquent narration by Reggie Hayes. A variety of music carries the movie through the various stages of growth, exposing the audience to an abundance of amazing facts and symbolism.


Crooked Eye

Academy Award winner Linda Hunt narrates a day in the life of Sharon (Fay Masterson) as she struggles with a recent divorce and a current perception problem. A visually stunning adaptation of Betty Malicoat’s short story of the same name. Part live action, part animation, ‘The Crooked Eye’ dreamily weaves between past and present, delicately painting a psychological portrait of a troubled woman.


Green Tunnel

The Appalachian Trail is a rugged wilderness footpath stretching 2,200 miles from Georgia to Maine. Each year a few adventuresome individuals endeavor to hike its entire length in one long trek. For half a year these thru-hikers encounter all of the severity, grace and challenge to be found on the United States’ most famed trail. Filmmaker Kevin Gallagher walked the length of this path and, in doing so, sought to capture the sometimes inchoate and transcendent experience of living in the natural world.

Caught in Paint

‘Caught in Paint’ is a 6 minute video capturing painter/sculptor Rita Blitt painting on four by eight foot transparent surfaces while choreographer David Parsons and members of the Parsons Dance Company are seen in mid-air, through the painting, imitating the dancing lines of Blitt’s paint strokes. Lois Greenfield, who collaborated in this union of paint, dance and photography, made dynamic photographs as she, too, was being filmed.

The Spam Job

At Montana State University one person was both beloved and reviled by those around him: Paddy. Class clown, Casanova, and attention-hound. In the summer of 1997, a plan was hatched to feed Paddy a taste of his own eclectic medicine. What followed was a tale of love, loss, mystery, and meat, the decade-long story proves that revenge is a dish best served canned.
